Confirmation
Confirmation is an important statement of
public commitment to the Christian faith, and like baptism is a
sacrament - a visible sign of God's invisible grace.
-
Confirmations normally happen once a year and are conducted by Bishop Emma
-
In our parish, the Confirmation Eucharist is the point at which most candidates first receive holy communion (although some will have already been prepared for holy communion elsewhere).
-
Confirmation is open to both adults and to young people who are Year 6 upwards at the time of the service.
-
Separate courses for adults and young people take place in advance.
-

-
The clergy are happy to discuss confirmation with you, either at the Parish Office - on 020 7221 3548 - or in church.
